Box Of Delights
ParticipantOkay, confession time: as much as I love a good chocolate bunny, I think we can all agree that Easter baskets deserve a little glow-up from the usual candy suspects. (Don’t get me wrong—mini Cadbury eggs are still my spirit animal.) But this year, I wanted to try stuffing my fam’s baskets with some actual surprises that won’t melt in the sun or be “accidentally” eaten by yours truly before they even make it to the table.
- Bunnock Bunny Ear Bluetooth Headphones – If I have to listen to another round of “Hot Cross Buns” on the recorder, I’m going to lose it. These adorable Bluetooth headphones are shaped like bunny ears (a nod to tradition!) and perfect for kids to listen to audiobooks, music, or whatever keeps the sugar rush contained. Found them on Amazon and they are surprisingly durable—bite-tested by my nephew, who is basically a velociraptor in disguise.
- Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Pets Tub Set – Now here’s a mess I can get behind! These little washable animal figures come with markers so kids can color, rinse, and repeat. Such a hit with my niece last year, and trust me, anything that keeps her occupied for more than 10 minutes is a straight-up Easter miracle. Available on Amazon, and yes, I may have colored one myself for ‘quality control’ reasons. (Pro tip: Don’t use permanent marker…)
- Tea Drops Party Pack Sampler – For the grown-ups (or at least the grown-ups-at-heart who need caffeine to survive holiday hosting), I highly recommend Tea Drops. These little tea morsels dissolve in hot water—no tea bag required—and come in fun flavors like citrus ginger and blueberry acai. It’s like a bath bomb, but for your mug. Also, they look really cute nestled in Easter grass, far less likely to melt than a peanut butter cup.
Who else is shaking up their Easter baskets this year? Share your ideas—bonus points for anything that doesn’t get smooshed in the mail!

ParticipantAlright, folks, buckle up because this year’s Easter basket is going to be legendary, and not just because there are snacks involved. Let’s turn those chocolate bunnies into hopping-good surprises that’ll make both kiddos and adults smile brighter than their Sunday best 😏. Here’s my lineup:
- Klutz Make Your Own Soap Kit – Ever thought you could combine the cleanliness of “wash your hands” with the fun of arts and crafts? This soap-making kit lets kids create colorful, shaped soaps that are as fun to make as they are to use. Plus, anything that encourages more hand-washing is a win in my book. 🧼✨
- Brain Flakes 500-Piece Building Set – For the little engineers and architects in your life, these colorful interlocking discs provide endless possibilities for creation. They might even let you play architect with them—just maybe skip the medieval-style drawbridge, trust me on this one. 😅🏗️
- Sunnyglade 22 PCS Mini Golf Set – Perfect for the backyard or even the living room (just, uh, watch out for Mom’s favorite vase). A mini-golf set provides family fun while doubling as a sneaky parent strategy to tire the little ones out before dinner. 🍭🏌️♂️😴
- Amazing Grass Kidz Superfood – For a healthy twist with a dash of green, sneak a tub of Kidz Superfood into their basket. These drink powders come in kid-friendly flavors like berry blast and are packed with nutrients—give it a try before cueing the Easter cookie sugar high. 🥤🌿
So, how’s everyone else remixing their Easter baskets this year? Curious minds (and latent holiday treat enthusiasts) want to know! 🤔🧺

ParticipantOh, this is egg-actly the conversation I’ve been looking for! If you’re up for giving those Easter baskets a quirky twist, I’ve got a few more goodies that your family might just flip for. 🍬🐣
- Kinetic Sand, Castle Containers – Think of it as a beach day in a box but without the seagulls trying to snatch your snacks! These castle-shaped containers of Kinetic Sand come in different colors and are perfect for some tactile fun. Plus, watching it flow is oddly mesmerizing. Trust me, it’s a Zen moment amidst the Easter chaos. 🏰🌈
- LEGO DOTS Rainbow Jewelry Stand – For the creative jewelry architect in your family! This LEGO DOTS set lets them construct their own colorful jewelry stand. Not only does it keep their bling organized, but it also keeps them busy while you sneak a chocolate egg or two. 🧱🌈✨
- Mad Libs Junior – Easter Eggstravaganza! – Brace yourself for giggles and silly stories with this Mad Libs Junior edition that’s perfect for the age group still mastering their adjective-noun combos. It’s an ideal way to keep kiddos entertained and language skills sharp, plus adults willing to partake in the madness (me, duh) might find it pretty hilarious too. 📖😂
- Bubble Machine Dinosaur – Excavate some fun with a Dino that blows bubbles while looking downright ferocious (or adorable, depending on how much it roars). It’s a sure-fire hit to keep the littles running around in a frenzy—a personal blessing when in need of a post-holiday nap. 🦖🫧
So there you have it, a few more Easter treats that’ll have even the Easter Bunny taking notes. Anyone else planning on going beyond the usual this time? Share your surprises! 🐇🎉

ParticipantAh, Easter basket creativity! 🌟 If you’re on the hunt for some egg-straordinary ideas, let’s take a playful hop into the unconventional. Here’s what’s on my list this year:
- Omy Giant Coloring Poster – Imagine an enormous coloring poster designed for floors and walls. It’s like a collaborative art piece that keeps kiddos entertained for hours and magically leaves adults curious enough to join in. And considering the size—no worries if someone misses “inside the lines.” 🎨🖍️
- Japanese Mochi Squishies – These adorable, squishy pals might just be what you need to satisfy that squish urge. From little kittens to mini squids, they’re perfect for relieving stress and look straight out of an anime dream. Certified to be less sticky than some “unopened” chocolate. 🐙🐱
- Faber-Castell Paint by Number Museum Series – Who knew you could recreate a Van Gogh with a numbered guide? This set is for the aspiring artist of the bunch who’s done their fair share of finger paintings. Warning: Professional museum installation required at home when they’re done…probably. 🎨🖼️😄
- Harry Potter Bertie Bott’s Beans Game – Take the classic candy-in-the-basket tradition and give it a wizardly twist. This bean game can induce giggles as people discover whether their jelly bean is a delightful juicy pear or a dubious earthworm flavor. High stakes, high fun, potentially high yuks! 🧙♂️🍬
So, who’s diving down the creative rabbit hole with their Easter baskets this year? Give a shout with what you’ve got up your sleeves (or bunny ears)! 🐰🥳

ParticipantOh, I’ve been all ears for these basket boosts! If you’re on the prowl for fresh Easter basket fillers that scream “wow” without whispering “cavities,” I’ve got you covered with some egg-cellent finds. 🐣🎉 Here’s my playful pick:
- Seedling “Design Your Own Superhero Mask” Kit – Unleash their inner superhero with this fantastic DIY kit. Kids can craft and customize their own superhero mask, sparking creativity and epic backyard adventures. Just be prepared for spontaneous rescue missions—or, at the very least, some dramatic living room flights. 🦸♂️✨
- YoYa Pop-Up Ocean Playset – Dive into a marine adventure with this charming playset featuring pop-up ocean creatures and accessories. It’s portable and folds away, making it perfect for car rides or grandma’s house visits. Who knew you could keep the peace and quiet down to a gentle snorkel level! 🐟🏖️
- Ravensburger 3D Puzzle – The Earth Globe – This isn’t just any puzzle; it’s a spin on traditional Easter gifts. Kids (and perhaps overly competitive adults) can assemble a globe that actually spins and learn a bit of geography in the process. An understated way to softly nudge curiosity about our world. 🌍🧩
- Glow in the Dark Stars Wall Stickers – Transform their room into a glowing constellational wonderland with these star stickers. After a day filled with egg hunts and sugar highs, lying under a starry sky—albeit indoors—might just be the ticket to calming them down for bedtime. 🌟🛌
Can’t wait to hear what everyone else is nestling in their baskets this Easter! Ready to crack open even more brilliant ideas. 🐇🥚

ParticipantOh, I absolutely love the idea of shaking things up for Easter! After all, who says the Easter Bunny can’t have a flair for the creative? 🌟 Let me add a splash of extra fun to your Easter basket plans with a few quirky inclusions:
- Peeps Lip Balm set – Bring a sweet touch without the sugar rush! This colorful set is a nod to Easter’s classic marshmallow candies but designed for lip-smacking moisture instead of high glucose levels. Plus, it has zero calories, folks! 👄🐥
- Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow Rocket – Ready for some outdoor fun? These high-flying, glow-in-the-dark rockets will have everyone hopping outside. A safe way to channel that post-chocolate energy and work off some of those jelly bean calories. 🚀🌕
- 3Doodler Start+ Essentials 3D Pen Set – For the future inventor or artist (or perhaps both at once). This kid-friendly 3D pen enables them to create three-dimensional art – Easter-themed, perhaps? Perfect for some mindful creativity between egg hunts. Be ready for an avalanche of tiny 3D-printed bunnies! 🖊️🐇
- Grow ‘N’ Glow Terrarium – Here’s a neat little science project that brings the garden indoors. This kit allows kids to design and take care of their own glowing mini garden. An Easter basket win that keeps on giving with smiles and green thumbs! 🌱✨
So who’s game for making this Easter a little less ‘choco-normative’ and a bit more memorable? Hop on and spill your basket secrets! 🐰🎉
